Dr. McPartland boasts a distinguished career that seamlessly bridges medicine, law, and education, which is marked by numerous accolades across these diverse fields. Initially establishing himself as a solo primary care physician, he achieved Board Certification in Family Medicine after residency and several awards for his exemplary service and patient care contributions. His pursuit of knowledge and professional growth led him to the legal field, where, after earning a law degree and successfully passing the bar examination, he was recognized for his proficiency and ethics, earning accolades and certifications, including that of a Certified Civil Mediator.
Transitioning from the legal domain to academia, Dr. McPartland has embraced various pivotal roles, including adjunct professor, full professor, academic dean, regional dean, program director, teaching and learning community chair, and university department chair. His contributions to education are further enriched by his authorship of several textbook chapters and his active engagement as a reviewer in the academic publishing sector.
Dr. McPartland thrives as a medicolegal consultant in medicine and law, offering his expertise to navigate complex issues. His commitment to fostering innovative educational experiences led him to become a certified Tiny Earth Partner Instructor, a role in which he completed specialized training at the microbiology labs of Johns Hopkins University. This certification enabled him to introduce cutting-edge, iterative undergraduate research initiatives at his previous institution.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. McPartland has dedicated himself to community service, exemplified by his tenure as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for a non-profit charter school in Palm Beach County.
